I started with my least important, least expensive to replace scissors: paper scissors. They're cheap, $ii scissors I got from CVS, so if this sharpener messed them upwards, I wouldn't really intendance. – If you're left-handed and utilize truthful lefty scissors, this product will not work on your scissors. Aforementioned goes for pinking shears and other specialty scissors.
